Ah, my mistake- I thought you mentioned this in the thread. I came up  
with it a couple of years ago, but I thought someone else had,  
independently, and so tried to give them credit.

Anyway, it does seem to work: PE for everything but buying skill adds/ 
attribute points, Skill Points for those. PE in Act awards, Skill  
Points for Adventure Awards.

It's simple and clear, and eliminates a lot of problems. I first tried  
it in my Lost Worlds campaign (circa 2005).
