The Stone of Cain, a piece of sharpened flint stained with dried
blood that throbs with an unnatural pulse.... :)

DDs need a highlord to be really effective. Is there some reason
this DD hasn't got one? Is it buried so far out of reach that
all it can do is subtly manipulate? Or is it a jealous DD that
has had many highlords but contrived to have them killed before
they learn to master it?

But I like it. Not sure it's an exact fit with the Torg
cosmology, but I'm getting lax in my old age, so I'll let it go
this time ;-)

Me too, different perspective to normal. Not sure how it would
actually work - don't believe it's as simple as "do a bit of
good and bit of evil and everything will be fine", but it could
engender the need to think a bit differently to be successful in
the realm.

Don't be. It is the one sole purpose of the group!
