Just curious - through the right circumstances, a fluke of luck (3 20s in a 
row), and through my superhero's growing ability, I was able to launch a 
blast attack last night in my torg game of 55 DV effect points. 

Can anyone give me some sense of how much destructive power that is? What 
does a 55 DV *mean*?

I assume you are not using the power push tables, in which case, wow! 

Out, image you just the blast that would literally VAPORIZE an M1A1 Abrams. Image running an aircraft carrier into your target at 33 NMPH. Probably equivalent to 350,000,000 times the blast of a single stick of dynamite... roughly.
