The DN to reconnect when in your home reality is normally zero. However,
if disconnection was due to a four-case you suffer a negative modifier
equal to the difference between the tool's axiom and the higher of the
character and the local reality (of course they're the same if the
character is at home). For example, if a medieval character (Tech 14)
in his medieval reality (Tech 14) disconnects on a phaser (Tech 30)
then his reconnection DN is 0 + (30 - 14) = 16.

The main difference is that Ords do not get to try and reconnect, they
stay disconnected until at some random time in the future they naturally
reconnect. (The process of Ord reconnection was never really made clear
in the published material, it must happen eventually but how long it
takes is anyone's guess.)
