If we were talking about real-world hypnosis, I might agree. But we're
talking about hypnosis that borders on mind control and can be used
on unwilling, even resisting, subjects. It's the kind you see in the
movies where the trigger drops the victim into a blank-faced robot-
like state as they unconsciously carry out their instructions.
