I let them talk with Dr. Hachi as my introduction to the first
adventure and had her describe eternity shards in general. Then,
knowing they would forget, I answered the question "What's an eternity
shard" whenever it came up with "These are concentrated storehouses of
Possibility Energy; they are known to be able to be tapped for
Possibilities, and have a Group Power that can be unlocked by spending
Possibilities on it." This gets people to want the thing, and to try
to find out which Group Power is in there. One group even spend all
their "experience Possibilities" on either the Group Power or Reality
skill, in part because I make them use Reality to decipher such things
as number of Possibilities contained (within a range) and any special
powers it may have.
