[Torg] Demon Lord of Trash

This was an odd idea I came up with, in response to an aborted  
creature contest over on the WEG boards. I'm not convinced this idea  
is any good, but it is certainly odd.

Thrasvek at Nal, Great Alpha technomage, transformed to Cyberpapal  
reality, lives in Trash (a section of the GodNet)

Thrasvek is a gifted technomage and master researcher.  It specializes  
in devising and breeding new techno horrors to inflict upon the Race.   
In that role, it eschewed living in a demesne, and spent all of its  
time moving from the borders of one Free Nation to another, spreading  
misery.

Its mastery of terror and violence made it a noted hero to other  
Tharkoldu, as well as an object of fear and pity.  Thrasvek suffers  
from a peculiar and rare Tharkoldu psychic disease called hvoklu,  
which translates as “pain-blindness.”

Tharkoldu feed on pain, much as humans feed on food and water.  Pain  
is a requisite part of the Tharkoldu diet and Tharkoldu are finely  
attuned to the mental and physical pain of sentient beings.  Deprived  
of a diet of pain, a Tharkoldu can even die of “starvation.”

Thrasvek not only lacks this pain sense, but also seems to suffer no  
ill effects from not experiencing other’s pain.  In human terms,  
Thrasvek would be a man who never got hungry and never had to eat,  
ever.  This defect is so disturbing and severe as to merit death, were  
Thrasvek not as gifted a master technomage as it is.

Thrasvek is solely responsible for many of the most destructive and  
insidious techno-horrors that plagued the Race.  Accordingly, it was  
invited to participate in the failed invasion of Russia.

After the destruction of the maelstrom bridge, Thrasvek made its way  
west, towards the borders of the Cyberpapacy.  Its journey was slow,  
and hampered by the lack of equipment and supplies.

Thrasvek arrived in the Papacy mere days before the Surge transformed  
it into the Cyberpapacy.  As it did with much of France, the Surge  
transformed Thresvek to the reality of the Cyberpapacy.

Since then, Thresvek has nursed his wounds and sought to  expand his  
powerbase in the Cyberpapacy.  He has set up a keep in the Godnet’s  
Trash, and slowly learned the rules of the new reality.  He also began  
experimenting with technohorrors.  Recently, Thresvek’s technohorrors  
have begun making their way out of Trash and into the wider world.

Godnet Techno-horrors

Electronic constructs- There are three main types of beings that  
inhabit the GodNet.  Some creatures are native, including Angels,  
Demons and the Beast.  Others are not native, but enter the GodNet  
through a deck or spell.  And yet others are not living at all, but  
seem to be.  These last are known as "Net Constructs." Net constructs  
are complicated VX programs that resemble living beings.  They are a  
very sophisticated forms of AI.  Thrasvek has begun programming many  
net construct technohorrors.

Net Syren- Net Construct.  Beautiful female, possesses decker’s bodies  
and sends their souls to Trash.

Digi-cycler- “Digital synthecycler.” A ‘Net construct.  Resembles  
synbthecyclers.  Troll through Trash, recovering files and data for  
the TD.

Trash Ghost- a 1-dimensional ‘Net construct.  Searches for couriers,  
then traps them and teleports them to Trash, where they are possessed  
and their information digicycled.

Posessed Deckers- attacked by a Net Syren and possessed.

New Technomagic spells for the Godnet- Jump: Trash, Jump: Babel, Jump:  
Purgatory (Spells which teleport the users to the specific sections of  
the GodNet, without any hacking needed).
