Yup, I'll be using the 1978 reprint of the 2nd edition Basic rulebook.
I'm not sure if Chainmail was counted as the first edition or if there
was a D&D in between Chainmail and the book I'm using.

That is, I'll be using it if the game actually happens. One of the
grognards who was going to be joining me says he might not show up and
the club's weekly email made no mention of me running a game tonight
so who knows if it will happen or not. Sigh.
