[Torg] coming back in Torg list with a bench of cyberquestions...

Hello to all,

I've been kept away from the list and the game for
a while, but I now plane to come back, run a game in a few days (new
campaign) and get involved in some topics here.
I'm french and
started a game in Cyberpapauté during our last adventure several months ago. One talking
about cathares, Albi, and a lot of heresy (Nile agents, rebel of Paris
and also a tharkoldu "escaped" from Kadandra, but shhh).
I'd like to
ask your opinion upon a question related to cyberware. When
cyber-enhanced Storm Knights move to place where tech axiom is lower
than 26 (almost everywhere except the place where they come from
indeed) when does a contradiction test is requirred ? I mean, for
someone with a cyber-eye or leg, not a chip, i.e. some device used
almost all the time. Does the Knight with a pair of cyber legs
encounter disconnection each time he runs an action while standing on
his legs ? The same problem occured when I had a player playing an elve
roaming outside the Aysle Kingdom. The elve is a magical creature and
for him, breathing air is a contradictionary action in any place where
the magic axiom comes to be less than 14. Does the wise way is to make
a contradiction check at the beginning of each scene, while the hard
way is to assume that the Storm Knight encounter disconnection at every
single action (walking with cyberlegs or simply "glancing and
breathing" when your race is elve) ?
And another question related
to cyberware is about the hand that Thratchen gave to Dr Hachi Mara II.
How do you used this event in your campaign ? Is that a plan of
Thratchen ? is the item described somewhere (a place I missed) ? and
mainly, and aside to occultech, what are the difference between the
tharkoldu cyberware and the cyberpapal one ?
Finally, I get
intersted in tharkoldus. They are demons, so could they be invoked like
the demons of Magna Verita, and how. What is the link between the
tharkoldu culture and the Hell described as the place of birth of
demons in many religions (if any) ?
Here is a big post for a (re)-start. I hope you will find it interesting and this will get us some valuable responses.

Have nice games.
Alexandre
