Oh, we're using the Terra rules, yes. I was just noting whatever rules are used, shouldn't make a difference to our particular question. What's the activation cost for a skill gadget? or booster gadgets, if you prefer? There is no power that gives "Evidence Analysis." However, on the Nile Empire list of System and Tech levels (page... 77?), all the skills (at least as of the time the book was published) are listed with a System and Tech Level. Evidence Analysis has a system limit of 8. The four magic skills have a system limit of 1. And so on. It's the application of those skills into gadgets that we're referring to."Now If I'm correct in Assuming there is no power that gives Evidence Analysis Skill as the effect, and I'm pretty confident there isn't, then this would be considered a booster gadget, and they work differently. Instead of providing the skill at a specific value, they provide a boost off of the power push table (If my memory is correct) which gets added to the players skill."I think that is what we were thinking of, and what I'll have to go back to the Terra book to check. Presumably the answer would be similar to "How do you boost the speed of an existing vehicle using a Weird Science gadget. Thanks for your response.---
