[Torg] What would you do as a GM if the player did this?

Hey hey hey,
I had a fun evening with my group. I ran them through the end of High Lord of Earth. Though I mutated the module a little bit for a different realm, but otherwise kept the module the same. It is a worthy module IMHO as it poses the players some internal questions, specifically at the end.

Not to put any spoilers in here for anyone who wants to run/play the module (and I'll encourage a GM to run it) but it fits my current delima. Sort of delima, I know what I'm going to do, and I know what I've done, I'm interested in seeing what you'd've done and why.

The players are standing in a room, say 10m x 5m x10m with one hallway entrance midway on the 10m wall, an Alter close to the far wall. Upon it was a Staele, 10 baseball sized black rocks stacked in a pyramid formation, and a deep black cattle skull. The walls, alter and Staele are the same rock that makes up the Devil's Tower (in Wyoming), which they happen to be inside. The Staele was destroyed by the group, and the rocks were spread about the room. The only thing on the Alter is the black cattle skull. Big horns on either side, no lower jaw bone. Really evil looking. Anyway. On player, a Nile Hero (Thing the Shadow without any powers, just the two .45 guns) takes out a Weird Science pistol, holds it up to the cattle skull, point blank range, and pulls the trigger. Please note, if you don't know by this point, that the cattle skull is a Darkness Device, it is.

What do you do? What do you do when the same player, plays a haste card and pulls a sword out with his other hand and smacks the DD again in the same round?

Needless to say I did handle it intertainging (according to my players).

I'll post what I did after I hear from some of you. I'm curious how other GMs would handle this.
