[Torg] new screwy ideas for Spirit based skills

This is starting to feel similar to the DC Heroes route, where you have three types of characteristics - Physical, Mental, Social - and each of the 3 has Acting Value, Effect Value, Opposing Value. A system that was very much Torg's progenitor, something that can still be seen in the way Dexterity, Strength and Toughness function for Martial Arts skills. However, Torg flexed this it didn't always rely on the ACting Value to achieve an action - sometimes it was enough just to focus on Effect - hence melee combat being under Strength.
In a similar way, the way you describe Charisma and Spirit here might be seen as Dex and Strength, achieving similar results through different means. The Opposing Value in this circumstance might best be coupled with Spirit, in the same way that I initially proposed (I think it was me, tho I may be wrong!!) that you could potentially rationalise Strength and Toughness into one without losing a great deal. It then gives you a nice triumverate of Dex, Str; Per, Min; Cha, Spi - all of which are effectively representing "Agility" and "Power".
