I can't answer in detail, but I felt like the Race had a lot in common with Frank Herbert's Fremen. If you think about how they acted, and what motivated them, that may give you some pointers as to how to work things in your campaign.
There. Is that so abstract an answer as to be equally useless for players and GM alike?! :-)

Okay, that should be good enough.
In the Tharkold sourcebook, it notes that if the Race were to reach out to any of the invaders in an effort to fight the Tharkoldu, they would reach out to the Cyberpapacy first, mostly due to an equivalent Tech level and similar monotheistic beliefs. We know that the Cyberpapacy views the Tharkoldu as 'demons', and uses them as a source of pro-Cyberpapacy propaganda.
With any reconciliation between the two faiths not being an issue (for argument's sake), if the Race were to reach out and form some kind of agreement with Jean Malraux, how would this relationship between the Race and the Cyberpapacy play out? I at first imagined the Race would be willing mercenaries for the Cyberpapacy in North America and Germany, but then that made me realize that may run counter to the Race's fierce sense of freedom and independence. That said, Jean Malraux could definitely use people like the Race who have generational experience, as well as their technological expertise and higher personal Spirit Axiom; the Race could use assistance against the Tharkoldu in their home cosm, plain and simple.
I think it comes down to "how would Jean Malraux allow the Race to proliferate in the Core Earth cosm?" as they don't currently have an avenue to do so themselves, which makes me wonder if he would intervene in the Tharkold home cosm. Would he launch an invasion of the Tharkold home cosm in exchange for the cooperation of the Race and all that they bring with them? Could he run a bridge from the Cyberpapacy on Core Earth to perhaps a Free Nation in the Tharkold home cosm? He could do it by dimthread, of course, but that method can prove painfully slow. Would the Law of Domination be enforced if the Race acted as the shocktroops of the Cyberpapacy? Would they be trading one master race for another? The concept of domination and submission is already used in some Free Nations, so I imagine the Race would see it more as a way of life than a negative thing when dealing with other humans.
A lot of questions, and not a lot of answers.
Would anyone care to offer some opinions or insights?
