[Torg] cyberpapacy martial arts

can i  just ask, does martial arts allow a character to use the special 
abilitys with a  sword? for example could lightning strike be used with a katana? 
as this is what  im suggesting to do with guns. i always thought that martial 
arts replaced the  melee skill but didnt give access to the special abilitys.

I don't know if there's much you need to limit,  it's not like we place
limits on using a katana instead of a fist with  martial arts, and an
average guy with a katana will have the same DV as he  would with a
9mm pistol. Or for that matter, an average guy with a modern  compound
bow has the same DV as with a 9mm pistol.
