[Torg] aysle a bit lame?

I guess it's horses for courses. For me, I wanted Aysle to actually be *more* like a typical fantasy world, so that I can really enjoy the contrast afforded by taking two familiar settings (Fantasy, Real life) and smashing them together. Aysle as writ is actually a bit too quirky, at times even overtly comical, for me.
Re: Cyberpapal Brazil, I suggest you check out an atlas ;-) There is more than enough of South America to give space to both Akasha and Cyberpapacy, especially if the Akashans focus on Aztec sites in central and north-south america.

Subject: [Torg] aysle a bit lame?

             hi guys,
im looking into starting up another torg campaign soon and i want to make some adjustments to the invading realms.
ive always had a problem with aysle as to my mind its just too much like any other fantasy game world. i love all the other realms, including the livingland. which i know alot of you dont like that much but it was atleast quite different to any other roleplaying worlds. so what to do with aysle? ive seen some pirate ideas for it but i still want to keep the magic in some form. i'll probably see if i can take magic away from the people and give it to the select few. i also have to say im not a huge fan of honour/ corruption. any thing that could replace it?

on a final note i want to shift the cyberpapacy to a less restrictive area im thinking possibly brazil? however i want to try and retain some link to france by having just 3 stelea around paris. keeps the cyber pap source book material quite useful still. do you think any high lord would land in 2 areas like that? maybe malraux does this either to block or aid a struggeling uthorion? thoughts on this?

                cheers,mark.

p.s. if cyberpap is in brazil what would the reaction be to the akashans arriving?
