[Torg] social axiom

I have found great use for the social axiom when it relates to the role-playing aspect of a land, not to mention a PC. While the MA and interaction skills (charm, persuasion, intimidate, etc) seem to be .... reasonable in high social areas, I can see where some would not see a direct connection for the social axiom in game. We use it all the time.
Of course, I think if the graduated MA system was used with the social axiom, players would see a more direct effect. That is an unoffical rule, and I forget where I saw it, but I did like it. I haven't implemented it or tested it, but our group thought it looked good in theory. It is where the a lower social axiom will only provide a smaller number of MA maneuvers for a specific martial art, while a higher social axiom provides a larger number of maneuvers for a specific martial art. E.G. Where Nippon Social Axiom provides a Martial Art with 5 minor, 2 major and 1 master, an Orrorshian Social Axiom might only provide 3 minor, 1 major, and no master level maneuvers. That is an example. I don't remember if that is accurate, but that is the concept.
*ponder* Essentially, even without that, our groups (more than just mine) have found the social axiom as useful as any of the other axioms.

Subject: [Torg] social axiom
just a quick one,
keeping psionics aside. has anyone put much of a use to the social axiom? it seems to have a very limited impact upon the game. unless you go into the LL ofcourse. id be interested to hear if anyone has added rules to make it more applicable to the system.
cheers, mark.
