It's not really funny, but I had to make a comment about the storm bearing down on Houston (Torg's U.S. Capital). How powerful would a Reality Storm have to be to do the damage that has been shown and/or projected. Did the skies act like this before Living Land crashed down, or when Nile dropped on Houston, or when Los Angeles was swallowed up by Tharkold.
Mom-in-Law decided she was going to wait it out, thinking it wasn't going to be that bad. She said tonight she wished she had taken us up on our offfer to have her come out here. We're a couple hundred miles away, so we'll get hit with a fraction of what Houston (specifically Baytown, where the Exxon refinery is) is going to experience.
I gave Mom-in-Law the tidbits I knew from northern New York winter storm in the hope of filling with with enough possibilities to resist transformation. She's lived in that house long enough, perhaps it's a hard point now. I guess we'll see.
The storm has a name....and it's Ike.
