[Torg] Willing Converts

Makes you wonder just _what_ is going on at a typical Ren Faire ... why, they have their own lingo, they definitely have insular communities, their regulars travel the country (or countries!) on the circuit to attend as many faires as possible.  Many make it their lifestyles.  Hm ... perhaps a patient High Lord, slowly using such faires to convert Americans from a historical re-enactment base to something more fantasy yet commercialism based.  A cosm?  Or something the HLs of Dark Aysle and Marketplace have cobbled up?  ;)

There would be, in fact the High Lords encourage it to happen; the
more people in an area willing to believe in/support a reality the
easier it is for them to establish their stelae zones. While some of
the HLs go for the blunt approach (ie, invading armies) others use
advance agents to encourage natives to viewpoints suitable towards
supporting the invading reality, going after people with pre-
conceived notions already favorable towards the invading reality
would be an obvious tactic.
