[Torg] Reality Bubbles and Cosm Boundaries...

A Reality Bubble is simply a personal pure zone of your own reality.
Outside forces have no effect on your personal reality for the duration of
the Reality bubbles existence.
Therefore Cosm travel, however frequent or swift, has no effect on the state
of your reality Bubble and by association your existence within it.
The second question only differs from the above state "if" you do not have a
reality Bubble up. An existing or ongoing effect, IIRC, will only be tested
for contradiction (1 case or possible 4 case) once, either at the beginning
of the scene in which it is used or at the time of the effects instigation.
I would however run with a retest when crossing between reality boundaries
if the differing axioms shifted appropriately.
So going from Magic Land where the spell is not a contradiction and crossing
into Logicsville the land of hard science would cause a check for
contradiction for your ongoing flight spell.
However going from Magic Land to the Magic Kingdom, both of whose axioms
support your flight spell, would not require a contradiction test.
Of course as Cosm boundaries are supposed to be hellishly turbulent places
with storms of conflicting reality energy then you may very well want to do
a few dramatic confrontations between the disparate energy of the storm and
the character or the effects upon them. Placing the storms strength against
the effect value of an ongoing magical effect to see if it is "dispelled"
sounds like a nice little risk effect for boundary crossing.
Everything gets a little more complicated (but not by much) when you start
considering the crossing between realities due to hardpoints, dimthreads,
reality trees, pure zones etc. I say only a little because even these
disparate and numerous items still have absolutely no effect on your 15
minute bubble.

Reality Bubbleslast for fifteen minutes, if I recall. What if you travel
through many cosms in quick succession?
For example, Let's say you are in Cosm A that doesn't support magic, expend
a possibility, and raise a Reality Bubble. You then casts Flight, travel 2
minutes then pass through a cosm gate into Cosm B (which also does not
support magic), travel 5 minutes then pass through a Cosm Gate that leads to
Cosm C(still no magic support), and finally travel 3 minutes then pass
through a Cosm Gate into cosm D, which does support magic.
Do you have to spend a new possibility every time you enter a new cosm, or
does the initial expenditure keep your bubble up through A, B, and C, until
you enter D? In other words by spending one Possibility, can you Fly
through successive cosms for your full 15 minutes of your Bubble? Jim?
Second question: If you have a spell of Flight you cast on yourself, and
you travel from one cosm that supports the spell to another, does crossing
the cosm boundary kill the spell, forcing a recast, or does it keep
puttering along, so long as one has a Bubble up or only travels through
cosms that support it?
Thanks.
