That would depend on why the area a maelstrom bridge touches down on is typically (not always) a pure zone in the first place. Once we know that, we know why or why not certain areas become dominant instead.

Although I would have thought the area by the Oxford bridge would be pretty possibility-energy rich. Or New York City.
