I think that Magic 0 is actually appropriate for Tatka Ker given the prevalence of Lanalan faith in it. The concept of luck indicates ambiguity in the causality of events, and in the cosmology of Jakatts everything boils down to Nature, which is ultimately all a part of Lanala. I tend to run edeinos (and all other Jakatts) as rationalists to rival any scientist from Kadandra or the Star Sphere, it's just that they appeal to Lanala's laws where the scientist would appeal to scientific laws.
The rest of your conversions I pretty well agree with, excepting the Star Sphere. Since I run the Star Sphere as the "space opera cosm", I think there should be a significant percentage of Star Sphere natives who believe in luck. I think it also helps to differentiate characters from the Star Sphere from, say, Kadandrans. Mind you, that probably isn't necessary since Kadandra never got an official write-up; as such, they're pretty easy to ignore in the run of a vanilla Torg campaign. :o)
